More than half of Android devices now run "Jelly Bean" OS

Google says the Android "Jelly Bean" operating system is used on more than half of compatible devices, up from 40% three months ago. The operating system is outpacing the older "Gingerbread" OS, which remains on 26.3% of devices. Android 4.4 "KitKat" is available only on Nexus 5 and other Nexus devices.
