Mr. Rooter president: ACA threatens small-business owners

The Affordable Care Act, particularly the definition of a full-time employee under the law, is the top concern for owners of small businesses, which create two-thirds of new private-sector jobs in the U.S., Mr. Rooter President Mary Kennedy Thompson writes. If the health care law does not undergo common-sense reform, higher costs associated with the employer mandate will threaten the ability of business owners to offer or create quality jobs in their communities, she writes.
