Outbound marketing still works -- here's how to make it better

A DiscoverOrg survey found 75% of IT executives had responded positively to cold calls and e-mails, suggesting the death of outbound marketing isn't quite at hand, Henry Schuck writes. The next step for outbound is to enhance social selling such as including details garnered from social media to add a personal touch. "These days, a handwritten letter may get you a lot farther than something generic mailed en masse," Schuck writes.
