US Airways fined $1.2 million for poor wheelchair service

US Airways has received a $1.2 million fine from the Department of Transportation. The DOT says the airline did not provide good enough wheelchair assistance to fliers at airports in Philadelphia and Charlotte, N.C. The DOT said that fliers missed their flights due to the inadequate wheelchair service and that there were numerous violations.
