Verbal template bolsters sign-out process in study

Adopting a standardized verbal template helped improve information transfer and reduce interruptions for inter-shift sign-out of patient data, researchers reported in the Journal of Healthcare Quality. Data was based on a survey of 79 clinicians working in a pediatric intensive care unit.
