P&G to boost diversity spending

The company announced yesterday it hopes to increase its spending on minority- and women-owned businesses by $600 million in the next two years, bringing its spending to $1.5 billion on such companies by mid-2005. Procter & Gamble is encouraging minority-owned businesses to seek opportunities with it.
