Long-term study finds whole grains reduce heart risks

For every one-serving increase in whole-grain consumption, participants in a long-range study reduced their risk of heart failure by 7%. The study also found an 8% increased risk of heart failure for each additional serving of high-fat dairy, as well as a 23% increase for each increased serving of eggs.
