Researchers apply supercomputing techniques in biomedical imaging

Researchers with the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas are using Interactive Supercomputing's Star-P software to create enhanced multidimensional images for use in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Star-P has allowed the researchers to experiment with a variety of imaging techniques that combine several imaging modalities, such as CT, MRI and PET.
