Appeals court upholds ruling for Harrah's, Pinnacle

A federal appeals court upheld a ruling that cleared Harrah's Operating Co. and Pinnacle Entertainment of monopolizing the Louisiana casino market. Jebaco of New Orleans filed the lawsuit, and a lower court ruled that the company was a landlord to Harrah's instead of a competitor. Jebaco had rented space to two Harrah's riverboats that were damaged by Hurricane Rita and later sold to Pinnacle for $70 million.
