Teachers in Modesto, Calif., are struggling to learn a new online system for tracking students' grades and attendance. The district has switched to the PowerSchool attendance and PowerTeacher grade-book system. However, teachers say they are frustrated by the lack of teacher input in choosing the new system, which some say is not easy to use or intuitive. Others say the rollout of the new system happened too quickly.
