Acer leadership change, workforce cuts ahead

Acer President Jim Wong will become chief executive officer in 2014, the company says. Current CEO J.T. Wang announced his resignation but will remain chairman until June. The leadership change is part of a corporate restructuring that includes a 7% workforce cut and an advisory team focused on adjusting the PC-maker's product strategy.
