Brazil debuts new seedless grape

The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corp. has developed a seedless grape called Isis, the fifth variety of the fruit developed by the group in the past decade. "Brazil is on the forefront of diverse technological areas. It is also on the forefront of new grapes, with and without seeds, for producers," said Alexandre Hoffmann, the group's grape technology director for Rio Grande do Sul.
