New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, easily won re-election Tuesday, trouncing his Democratic challenger, state Sen. Barbara Buono, by more than 22 percentage points. Christie's victory cements his position as a national GOP leader, and was seen as a test-run for a 2016 presidential campaign. "I know that if we can do this in Trenton, N.J., then maybe the folks in Washington, D.C., should tune in their TVs right now and see how it's done," Christie told his supporters.
