Kan. distillery traces everything "back to the farm"

Wheat State Distilling in Kansas uses ingredients from nearby farms to create small-batch bourbons and other spirits. Tracing the ingredients back to the farm is one way to differentiate among other distillers and between the different products it produces, said David Bahre, Wheat State's owner. "My goal is to trace every ingredient back to the farm. I call it field to bottle," he said.
