Online retailer Zady pops up at LaGuardia Airport

Online retailer Zady has opened a 400-square-foot holiday season pop-up shop at New York's LaGuardia Airport to showcase jewelry, fashions, accessories, bags and home goods that come with stories of their origins. The shop is a step in Zady's plan to eventually open a permanent brick-and-mortar store, according to co-founder Maxine Bédat, and is "another way for us to reach our customers directly, creating a community of like-minded, conscious consumers who are looking for more out of the items they purchase," co-founder Soraya Darabi said.
