Orion capsule's avionics systems undergo test

The first Orion crew capsule slated for a space mission underwent a test of its avionics systems, according to Lockheed Martin Space Systems of Denver, the prime contractor on the capsule. NASA and Lockheed plan a test of Orion's heat shield in a 2014 test flight, the first space flight for the capsule.
