Program gives nursing students international experience

The International Nursing Service Project gives student participants a chance to visit countries such as Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Kenya to work with local communities and get a break from rigorous in-school course schedules. Participants perform standard clinic care such as blood draws and also spend time in the local communities to better understand public and individual health risks in the area.
