Study: Consumers are treating tablets more like PCs

Click-thru rates on tablets are becoming comparable to those on laptops, said a Marin Software study that predicts as a consequence, increases in tablet impression share and budgets will soon exceed increases on smartphones. A tablet "may not resemble a Mac Pro or tower desktop when it comes to performance, but tablets are slowly beginning to replace the reasons for using a laptop computer," said Kye Mou, Marin senior product marketing manager.
