Study finds link between prostate cancer and melanoma risk

Men with a personal history of prostate cancer were at 83% greater risk of developing melanoma and 8% greater risk of having non-melanoma skin cancer than those without the condition, according to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. The study authors said the association "may be related to higher androgen levels leading to higher chances of developing both types of cancers."
