Survey shows community hospital progress on EMR implementation

A survey done by Anthelio and Community Hospital 100 found that only 3% of participating community hospitals have yet to buy an EMR system. The poll also revealed that 40% of respondents who have purchased an EMR system have fully implemented it, while the remainder are still in the process of doing so. About 1 in every 5 respondents expects that meaningful use incentives will help them recover more than 65% of the cost of buying and implementing an EMR system.
