Former general applies skills to education reform

Former Air Force Major General Marcelite J. Harris says he has brought a "military state of mind" to his new job as chief of staff under New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein. The move to hire Harris is part of Klein's plan to bring military-style discipline to the Department of Education.
