San Diego building construction in flight path worries officials

Construction of a 12-story office building near San Diego's Montgomery Field airport has pilots and officials concerned because it is in the path of a route planes use to land in bad weather. Despite FAA warnings of the hazard, the agency has no power to bar construction because the building is a block outside of the official airport boundary.
