Flight delays decline at most U.S. airports

Travelers are experiencing fewer delays at most U.S. airports, according to an analysis of flight data. The largest 31 airports outside of the New York area reported 8% fewer delays between January and August of 2007, compared with the same period a year earlier. New runways, improvements in procedures and other efficiencies are contributing to the trend.
