Nonunion lawsuit blocks Ohio stadium concrete pouring

Officials in Columbus, Ohio, have been blocked from awarding a $5.9 million contract to a union shop to pour concrete for the new Clippers stadium in response to a lawsuit by a nonunion competitor. Lithko Contracting Inc., of Hamilton, Ohio, filed the lawsuit claiming that Franklin County commissioners rejected its "lowest and best" bid in order to gain favor with labor unions.
