Peltz works to change the face of the food industry

Businessman Nelson Peltz is touted as among the food industry's most influential investors, and through his various investment vehicles he owns the Arby's restaurant chain as well as stakes in Cadbury Schweppes and H. J. Heinz Co. Peltz gained fame in 1997 when he paid $300 million to obtain the Snapple beverage business from Quaker Oats, which he sold three years later to Cadbury Schweppes for $1.45 billion.
