Bahrain opens college for teachers

As part of the country's plan for educational reform, Bahrain has opened a teaching college intended to help educators improve and to train highly qualified teachers, who are needed, leaders say. "Investing in our people is the primary foundation for the development of our kingdom," said Crown Prince and Economic Development Board Chairman Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. "It is through this investment that we will see our people and our nation prosper."
