ExpressJet reports smaller quarterly loss

ExpressJet has reported a narrower loss of $4.8 million for the third quarter, as the company ended both an experiment in branded flying and a partnership with Delta Air Lines. ExpressJet flew 2.44 billion revenue passenger miles during the quarter. The company now operates 214 aircraft under an agreement with Continental Airlines plus an additional 30 planes in its corporate and charter division.
