Morgan Stanley analyst Mary Meeker is legendary for her annual presentations on the state of the Internet economy, at the Web 2.0 conference. Click here for the .pdf of the presentation, which describes in rather gloomy detail the effect of the current economic crisis on advertising spending. For a bit of silver lining, check out slide 22, which characterizes social media such as video sharing, social networks and VoIP networks as "undermonetized" as compared to the number of users and time spent on site.
