Sears pins hopes on high-end appliances

In an effort to win back appliance shoppers from retailers such as Home Depot and Lowe's, Sears will add a new line of Jenn-Air kitchen appliances to its lineup this month. In January, Sears will become the only national retail chain to sell the high-end appliances, a move it hopes will turn around a downward trend. Still the dominant player, Sears has seen its piece of the appliance market drop from 40% to 31% in the last decade.
