4 keys to safe chain saw operation

Safety should be prioritized when using chain saws to clear storm debris, according to a landscaper in Natick, Mass. Cuts should only be made when both feet are on the ground, the blade should always be sharpened, the operator's legs should not be in the saw's cutting path and frequent breaks should be taken, said Ed Mailhot Jr., owner of Ed's Tree and Landscape Service.
