Briggs & Stratton to buy Brazil equipment maker for $60 million

Briggs & Stratton says it will buy Brazilian outdoor power equipment maker Companhia Caetano Branco for $60 million. The deal is slated to become final within three to four months. "This acquisition brings two great companies with incredible brand strength together," said Todd Teske, chairman, president and CEO of Briggs & Stratton and a member of MAPI's executive committee.
