FAA encourages inspections of Weber seats

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued recommendations that airlines that use any of 11 seats made by Weber Aircraft perform inspections "for loose seats and incorrectly installed fittings." The manufacturer, whose seats came loose on three American Airlines jets earlier this year, released instructions Friday for completing the inspections.
