NASA releases images of near-Earth asteroid

NASA released images of a near-Earth asteroid called 2007 PA8, which were taken using the agency's Deep Space Network antenna in Goldstone, Calif. The space rock's closest approach to Earth was seen Monday when it came within 17 times the distance of Earth to moon. The agency gathered the images of the space rock as this is the nearest it will come to Earth for two centuries.
