Study: No long-term effects of recurrent hypoglycemia in preemies

U.K. research published in Pediatrics showed premature infants with recurrent asymptomatic hypoglycemia did not suffer long-term developmental problems. The data counter earlier research showing cognitive problems as children aged, which researchers said had profoundly affected the care of premature infants.
