$1.1B steel plant project in Ark. hits a snag

A project in Arkansas that could create 2,000 construction jobs has, at the least, been delayed for several months. Big River Steel plans to build a $1.1 billion plant, but its air quality permit is being challenged by rival Nucor Steel. A spokesman for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission said, "From our standpoint it's something that will be worked through, and we feel confident once resolved Big River will break ground and build the mill."
