26 firms recognized for integrating tech into their projects

Twenty-six companies have been recognized as the 2013 Constructech Vision Award winners for their ongoing efforts in using construction technologies, such as Web-based applications, on-premise solutions, and document management and collaboration systems. For instance, Seattle Tunnel Partners, a joint venture between Dragados USA and Tutor Perini Corp., received a Gold award in the heavy/highway category for using Aconex solutions for efficient management of transmittals, documents and bids in Seattle's $1.4 billion State Route 99 tunnel project. The winners "are not only a group of forward-thinking organizations with a vision for how technology can be adopted on construction projects; they are also impacting the future of construction technology," according to this article.
