Job seekers must be creative, but still professional, to stand out from the pack during interviews, technology recruiter Harry Urschel suggests. Gimmicks such as sending resumes with glitter or perfume are too far outside the box, he notes, but candidates should strive to identify ways they can bring something unique to the organization and display those skills. "Setting yourself apart in ways that emphasize the most important qualities they want to see is imperative," Urschel writes.
