Nine-year-old German shepherd Jade alerted her owner to a baby abandoned in a U.K. park. While on a walk with her owner, Jade ran to a bag near some bushes, sat down and refused to move. Roger Wilday, Jade's owner, saw an infant alive in the bag and alerted authorities. "The baby was lucky to be found when she was, as even just a few more hours exposed to the elements could have had fatal consequences," said police official Ian Green. The little girl is being called Jade, after the dog who saved her.
