Driving to work solo is the American way, survey suggests

In 2013, 76% of American workers 16 and older drove to work by themselves, nearing the record of 77% in 2005, a Census Bureau study indicates. During that time, other forms of commuting, such as carpooling, public transportation and bike riding, became less common.
