Food Network, Cooking Channel ease into product placements

Food Network and its sibling Cooking Channel are now allowing some product placements during its programming and featuring its talent in commercials for sponsors. For example, "Chopped" judge Alex Guarnaschelli was featured during commercial breaks giving out recipes that used products by sponsor Fisher Nuts, and with the help of Food Network parent Scripps Networks Interactive, she set up a separate endorsement agreement.
