Instagram chief hails early success in ad rollout

About 5% of Instagram users who saw the site's new ads clicked to "like" them, a statistic CEO Kevin Systrom called "pretty tremendous considering most of the ads we see on the Internet we ignore." Systrom said the company is taking the process of integrating ads on its site slowly. "Are they making us hundreds of millions of dollars per day? No, but that wasn't the goal," he added.
