Ore. task force to offer liquor modernization proposals

A state task force assembled by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission is expected to produce a set of modernization proposals that could include the sale of liquor at grocery-store chains in the state. The proposal would allow stores larger than 10,000 square feet to sell state liquor alongside their wine, beer and mixers. A minimum price on the liquor could also be set that includes the state's cut, in an effort to reduce competition with smaller stores.
