A proposal to build a casino at Suffolk Downs racetrack was defeated by voters in East Boston, but approved by voters in Revere, Mass. The racetrack straddles both cities, but a casino could be built only on the Revere side. "Fifty-three acres of the property are in Revere," said Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo. "If there is a way to reshape the project so it fits entirely in Revere, we’re going to pursue it."
