NP produces TV series to share experience in preventing diabetes

A nurse practitioner, fitness instructor and medical journalist who has defied her chances of developing diabetes has produced and directed an 11-week television series to pass on her knowledge of how to battle diabetes. The program, called "Bad Sugar," is targeted to those at risk of developing diabetes but also could benefit those who just want to be health-conscious, the nurse said.
