Study: Seasonal demand can affect guest experience

Guest experience may vary depending on seasonal fluctuations in room demand and the added pressure that places on staff and the facilities, according to a study. The hotels that tend to have the least seasonal fluctuation, and therefore provide the most consistent guest experience, are economy and mid-scale lodgings that do not feature food-and-beverage service, while luxury hotels have the greatest variability, the study says.
