Can Atlanta absorb all the space now under construction?

Three glitzy new Class A office buildings are scheduled for completion in 2009 in Atlanta, prompting some market watchers to wonder how fast the market will absorb all the space. Under construction are Cousins Properties Inc.'s 25-story, 564,000-square-foot addition to its 10-acre mixed-use Terminus; Tishman Speyer's 20-story, 485,000-square-foot tower at Two Alliance Center; and a 34-story, 425,000 square-foot office/condo tower by a partnership of Pope & Land Enterprises Inc., Duke Realty Corp., Post Properties Inc. and Novare Group Inc.
