Federal appeals court rules for State Farm in flooding case

A federal appeals court has ruled that State Farm does not have to pay Mississippi homeowners for the record flooding caused by Hurricane Katrina. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals found that residential policies do not cover the damage and noted that water damage is explicitly excluded from coverage.
