Obama's energy program for infrastructure and renewables

On the campaign trail, President-elect Barack Obama said that energy would be a top priority when he assumes office. He plans to invest in infrastructure, which could be a boon to manufacturing companies such as Caterpillar. Obama also plans to institute a cap-and-trade system for carbon emissions and will devote $15 billion a year to the commercialization of renewable energy.
