Philadelphia passes stringent menu-labeling law

The Philadelphia City Council has passed a menu-labeling law that will require restaurant chains with at least 15 eateries nationwide to post calorie counts on menus and menu boards staring in 2010. The law also requires content listings of trans fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates and sodium.
