President-elect Barack Obama already is setting a more forward-thinking tone towards technology than the current Bush administration by including tech executives on his transition team, according to this article. Their presence suggests Obama is likely to follow through on his pledge to appoint a chief technology officer for the country, and embrace the use of new technology in the executive branch.
